CASE STUDY
I am remotely helping a friend working out a new refurb in an apartment in Sicily. She wishes to make the most of the space as the apartment is compact.
She has sent me a rather poor floorplan. So I had to follow up with plenty of phone calls to understand measurements and other details.
I have proposed the plan below which utilises the space at its best.
Newly restructured flat in central Palermo.
The original configuration has been entirely restructured.
While in the old flat entrance hall and corridor took space away from living area, moving the entrance door 90 degrees has allowed us to utilise the space at its best. We have created an open plan living area and a study.
Now the new bedroom space also comprises an en-suit and a walk thorigh wardrobe.
There is plenty of light thanks to the double aspect and the space, albeit compact can still comfortably accommodate guests.
Work starting soon.... I look forward to see this space take shape!
