I did not start in property. I trained as a clinical psychologist, then as an interior designer, then spent thirteen years in international film and television. I loved that career - it paid well, gave me freedom, and took me around the world. But thirteen years of freelancing in an industry built on pressure, instability, and other people's timelines eventually stopped making sense.

So I changed direction. I invested heavily in property education, made mistakes, spent a lot of money learning, and started flipping. A few projects in, I realised something uncomfortable: I had swapped one kind of stress for a worse one. More financial exposure. More risk. More pressure. And no real system to make it sustainable.

That was the turning point.

I went back to what I already knew - psychology, design, visual storytelling - and combined it with everything I was learning on the ground.
